Group Study Exchange (GSE)

Group Study Exchange is a program providing an opportunity for young business and professional men and women to go on a vocational and cultural exchange.

Teams go overseas for four to six weeks to experience the host countries way of life, to observe their vocations and to develop personal and professional relationships.

Applicants must be between 25 and 40, and must be fully employed.

St Ives Rotary Club was proud to sponsor a member of the 2008 GSE Team, Evan Burrell.  Evan is a horticulturalist, who learnt about the profession as practiced at major venues around New York and New Jersey, including Central Park in New York City. He has been an active member of St Ives Rotaract Club for several years, and has served as President of the club as well as the District Representative of Rotaract.

Congratulations, Evan!
