National Youth Science Forum is a two week program for students commencing year 12 who are interested in all aspects of science. The forums are held in Canberra each January. In 2010 two forums were held, one in Canberra and the other in Perth.
Past president Evan Burrell receives a Paul Harris Fellow from President David Dean. The Rotaract club was started in 1969, hence a themed party of that year.
A night to Remember Bollywood comes to the Hornsby RSL club. St Ives Rotary put on a Bollywood show to promote awareness of Polio which is still currently in four countries. Our aim was to raise money to help rid the world of this insisious disease.
The public were invited to donate a gold coin and have a finger painted purple, as is done in developing countries when children are immunized against polio. Funds raised will be donated to Rotary's "End Polio Now" campaign.
