Raising awareness of Polio eradication. Steve Cartland from St Ives Rotary gets a finger nail painted as a symbol of Polio eradication. Don Murphy applies the paint. Graffiti removal project from Turramurra Rotary Club. Rotary assists badly disfigured people around the world, by getting them the much needed operation to give them back some dignity and improve their quality of life. Join Rotary an organisation of professional and business people. Having Fun while doing good for the community, both locally, nationally and globally. Wheelchair Foundation, providing wheelchairs for people who would otherwise not be able to get around so easily, go to work and help maintain a reasonable quality of life.
Interplast, doctors and nurses assisting disfigured people. Rotary assists in raising money, and often sending a team member to travel overseas with the medical staff. MUNA - Model United Nations Assembly Students in high schools debate problems and issues of international concern. Sponsored by Rotary in schools every year. Bowel Scan a community awareness program each year. Vocational excellence, the cornerstone of Rotary.
